Dr. Fraser Taylor’s research in international development focuses upon on the relationship between geomatics and socio-economic issues.
Dr. Taylor is concerned with the organization, analysis and overall communication of information on a wide variety of topics relating to development. Professor Taylor is the director of the Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre at Carleton University. Taylor’s recent projects include the creation of a cybercartographic atlas of Antarctica and a cybercartographic product on Canadian and international trade. Taylor is the Distinguished Research Professor of International Affairs, Geography and Environmental Studies at Carleton University.
